blood is thicker than water

I started a personal project last week about the relationships within a family circle.
I find it interesting that dysfunctional groups of people who tend not to 'get on' will always have love for one another.
I was inspired by photographs of strangers in antique shops, families being forced to have their picture taken and their expressions showing the awkward circumstance.
